Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Description:
This extensive workshop is designed to impart functional knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to those good at Blue Print Reading. The workshop is conducted using a blend of lecture / discussion, quizzes, and hands on experiments for experiential learning; this approach ensures the concepts are well understood and retained for long time to come. Myths of GD&T are also exposed, enabling the true value of this subject to be appreciated and understood. Plenty of actual products / parts are discussed in class to clarify application of the 1994 ASME standard. Participants are encouraged to bring in drawings from their companies for class discussion.
