Course No. BEL12
Basic Electronics - I
Description:
Building on the foundation of Basic Electronics I, this course begins with the basic theory and construction of P-type and N-type semiconductor devices which is then expanded into a discussion of the construction and operation of diodes, LED's, transistors, logic chips, and other devices. Electro-static discharge (ESD) and its effects on these devices is covered. Also discussed are uses of these devices in digital logic circuits, power amplification, and regulation. AC to DC, and DC to AC conversion is covered. RF signal and power generation, transmission is covered along with its usage in a variety of industries. This course includes a segment that is customized to the clients' industry. Discussed is the theory and application equipment that the student is exposed to in that industry.
